CIPA Heritage Documentation is excited to announce our newest Sustaining Member, Overhead4D. With their extensive experience and passion in the field of documentation, we welcome Overhead4D with enthusiasm and thank them for their support.
Overhead4DⓇ is an innovative studio dedicated to the fusion of creativity and cutting-edge technologies, with a primary focus on preserving cultural heritage through advanced digital solutions. Their work revolves around the meticulous process of photogrammetry, enhanced by laser scanning and AI, to create highly accurate and immersive representations of cultural heritage sites and objects. These technologies enable them to produce invaluable digital assets that serve as a bridge between the past and the future, helping preserve the richness of human history for generations to come.
Our mission is not only to digitize existing heritage sites but also to collaborate with researchers and historians to reconstruct these sites as they appeared in the past. This includes creating immersive applications in VR and AR, as well as innovative solutions such as holographic projections, video mapping, and interactive touch panels.
In addition to these endeavors, we are deeply committed to educating the community. We organize workshops and training sessions for commercial companies, cultural heritage institutions, high schools, and universities. These efforts are supported by our esteemed partners, including CapturingReality (EpicGames group), Nvidia, Nira, and many more.
We are proud members of ICOMOS and ICOM, and we actively participate in COST actions focused on digitization at a European level.
